[Hiring] Contract Compliance Specialist @JGMS Government Services LLC

Role Description

JGMS is seeking a Procurement Compliance Specialist to provide support to our client. This position is responsible for reviewing procurement and subcontract files to ensure compliance with applicable prime-contract requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR), and internal procurement policies and procedures.

The specialist will independently plan, organize, and perform procurement compliance activities, including:

• Pre-award and post-award file reviews
• Management assessments
• Corrective-action tracking
• Audit support
• Procurement policy development

The position will work closely with:

• Procurement personnel
• Management
• Legal counsel
• Labor relations
• Internal audit
• Subcontractors
• Suppliers
• DOE/NNSA representatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training and experience
• At least 5 years relevant, progressively responsible experience
• Government procurement and subcontracting experience required
• Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) experience required
• Demonstrates skills and experience in computerized procurement systems
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) software package
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain strong effective customer relationships
• Ability to attend training facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada
• Ability to complete work remotely

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Candidates are not required to obtain a DOE L/Q security clearance for this role
• Background Check and Screenings: A pre-employment drug screening and background review is required
