[Hiring] Senior Business Development Manager Gaming @Heaven Media

Role Description

We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate Heaven Media's growth across the South Korean games industry & further ahead in the wider region. This is a proactive business development role with direct responsibility for:

• Generating new commercial opportunities
• Building pipeline momentum
• Converting new business across game publishers, developers, platforms, esports organisations and the wider games ecosystem

The successful candidate will combine strong relationship-building capability with a genuine hunter mentality, identifying opportunities, opening doors, managing commercial conversations and driving opportunities through to close.

Alongside regional revenue generation, the role will act as Heaven Media's ambassador within the South Korean games industry, representing the business at major industry events, building long-term trusted relationships and increasing awareness of Heaven Media's capabilities throughout the region.

A key objective of the role will be developing relationships with Korean regional headquarters and decision makers that can influence marketing activity globally, creating introductions and opportunities with European and North American headquarters.

This role requires somebody who understands:

• Consultative selling
• Relationship-led business development
• The South Korean games industry
• Regional market(s) dynamics
• Long-cycle partnerships
• How global publishers and developers operate across multiple territories

You will work closely with leadership, strategy, creative, marketing and account teams to shape opportunities from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Proven business development, partnerships or agency growth experience
• Existing network within the South Korean/Asia games industry
• Demonstrable track record of generating new business
• Experience selling strategic services, partnerships or marketing solutions
• Strong commercial negotiation & relationship management capability
• Experience managing complex or long-cycle B2B opportunities
• Confident presenter & communicator with senior stakeholders
• Strong understanding of the games industry and gaming culture
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating across international teams
• Languages: Native Korean & Fluent English

Requirements

• Agency or integrated marketing experience
• Experience working with publishers, developers, platforms or gaming hardware brands
• Existing relationships with Korean headquarters of global organisations
• Experience introducing regional opportunities into Western headquarters
• Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
• Experience coordinating proposals, pitches and commercial projects
