[Hiring] Senior Business Consultant @TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods

Role Description

This role can be remote, based anywhere in the UK or hybrid at our London office. Occasional National & International travel may be required.

As a Senior Business Consultant you will be part of TELUS' customer experience excellence team to ensure the optimal delivery of EMEA projects in Trade Promotional Management (TPM) solutions. This is a client-facing role. You'll be involved in projects from initiation to completion, including:

• Requirement scoping and capture
• Solution design and configuration
• Documentation
• Introducing best practice
• Supporting the client through UAT and Go-live until handed over to support

What you'll do:

• Lead large, complex projects or multi-market programs
• Apply your understanding of consumer goods businesses and their commercial processes
• Introduce best practice and consult with clients on improving their processes and their use of the solution
• Run discovery and configuration workshops to capture client requirements and document decisions and design using TELUS templates
• Configure the TELUS TPM modules through the user interface
• Support the global technical services team in interface design and testing
• Ensure the quality of the solution delivered through internal testing and evaluation against the configuration design
• Support clients through user acceptance testing and triage any issues or bugs
• Deliver “train the trainer” training to client super users
• Support go-live / cut over activities
• Maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their business needs and motivations
• Support the creation of customer SOW documentation

This role does not have management responsibility for any staff members.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering software implementations, including go-live support
• Client-facing experience running requirements capture and discovery workshops
• Good knowledge of FMCG commercial and financial practices
• Experience documenting requirements, design decisions and implementation documentation
• Experience configuring enterprise software through a user interface (trade promotion management or similar)
• Experience delivering training to end users or super users
• Ability to manage ambiguity and conflict, and guide clients toward compromise
• Organised and proactive, following tasks through to completion

Requirements

• Relevant business analysis certification (nice to have)
• Understanding of how to operate a successful user acceptance testing phase (nice to have)
• Experience working within the FMCG industry, in either a sales operations, demand planning or revenue management role (nice to have)
