[Hiring] Manager Training Business Development, Marketing & Operations @ASSOCIATION FOR MATERIALS PROTECTION AND PERFORMANCE

Role Description

Support AMPP's Strategic Geographies & Emerging Industries initiatives in India by coordinating education and training marketing & operations, supporting regional partnerships, and helping ensure the effective delivery of programs and services across India.

Coordinate and support education programs by administering course logistics and ensuring seamless delivery across assigned territories. This role provides critical support to the Education Strategic Scheduling Specialist while strengthening AMPP’s presence in strategic geographies and emerging industries, aligning education delivery with growth objectives and expanding access to new markets.

Qualifications

• College/University degree in Engineering, Management, Business Administration. An MBA and professional certification are considered a significant advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industry, consulting, or professional organizations, with at least 1 year in a managerial role within a similar reputed organization or corporate environment.
• Experience in marketing, training, events is desirable.
• Experience of working with training institutions will be an added advantage.
• Strong managerial and administrative capabilities.
• Effective communicator with strategic thinking and strong networking skills.
• Financial acumen, including P&L understanding, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Adaptability to industry dynamics, outreach, and multi-year planning.

Requirements

• Less than 25% travel is expected for this role within India and passport is required, mainly for USA travel.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, members, employees of the organization, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, etc.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to develop and interpret business graphs.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must possess a specific level of communication skill both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated personnel management skills including, but not limited to, the ability to evaluate staff performance and provide direction, is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a multi-task environment taking into account various external factors and to communicate efficiently and accurately to both managers/supervisors and subordinate staff.
• Must be computer literate with knowledge and experience in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to learn and use association specific software.
