[Hiring] Global Business Development Director @DSV

Role Description

As Global Business Development Director, Technology, you will play a key role in expanding DSV's Contract Logistics footprint within the Technology sector. You will identify new opportunities, build executive-level customer relationships, and drive complex business development initiatives that create long-term value for customers and DSV alike. This is a highly visible global role where your expertise, strategic thinking, and commercial leadership will help shape the future growth of our Technology vertical.

• Identify, secure and grow Contract Logistics business opportunities within the Technology sector
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with global customers
• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with DSV's Technology vertical growth ambitions
• Lead large-scale sales opportunities from prospecting through award and successful implementation
• Manage complex RFQ and tender processes, coordinating cross-functional and international teams
• Partner with Key Account Management, Solution Design, Operations and Commercial teams to create customer-focused logistics solutions
• Support the development and growth of priority Technology sub-verticals
• Identify service gaps, customer challenges and new solution opportunities
• Drive pipeline management activities, ensuring opportunities are tracked, prioritised and converted effectively
• Contribute to strategic growth plans and support long-term business development objectives across regions
• Collaborate closely with regional commercial leaders and global technology teams to deliver consistent customer value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field
• Extensive experience within Contract Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• Proven success in a senior customer-facing business development or commercial leadership role
• Experience working with large multinational customers, ideally within the Technology sector
• Strong understanding of warehousing operations, supply chain solutions and emerging industry trends
• Demonstrated success leading complex business development projects and securing significant new business wins
• Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders at executive level across multiple countries and cultures
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate customer needs into business opportunities
• Self-driven and comfortable operating in a global, matrix environment
• Fluent English language skills
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
