[Hiring] Director, Business & Client Development @InnovateMR + Ivy Exec

Role Description

InnovateMR is looking for a Director, Business & Client Development who can deepen existing accounts and open new ones in equal measure. You'll shape strategic proposals, price projects for healthy margins, keep our client data sharp, and mentor junior reps along the way.

Reporting to the VP, Business Development, you'll grow revenue by meeting with and cultivating clients, both new businesses and those already in our portfolio. You'll manage sample frame requirements for our online research projects and own the accuracy of our client lists in Edge and HubSpot. You'll work across departments every day, so organization and quality matter as much as closing.

What You'll Do:

• Business and client development
  • Grow revenue and win rates by meeting with and cultivating clients
  • Use existing relationships and LinkedIn to find and develop new contacts at current portfolio clients
  • Expand sales with new businesses as well as existing relationships
  • Build thoughtful, strategic proposals using your market research industry knowledge
  • Protect high margins with sound, well-reasoned project pricing
• Project and data management
  • Manage sample frame requirements for InnovateMR's online research projects
  • Manage and update client lists in Edge and HubSpot, keeping information consistent across all systems
  • Audit sales lists so billing and marketing campaigns have accurate, complete contact information
  • Partner with the AVP, Client Development and the VP, Sales Operations & Corporate Training to fix account issues and optimize lists for targeted marketing campaigns
• Leadership and collaboration
  • Guide and educate junior representatives in market research sales by modeling exemplary performance
  • Build strong, professional relationships with clients and every internal department
  • Support other sales initiatives as priorities evolve

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in market research or a related industry
• A proven record of prospecting and generating new revenue
• Comfort coaching and modeling best practices for junior sellers
• Strategic thinking with a meticulous, resourceful, flexible approach
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• The ability to juggle priorities and work independently in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication
• Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM (nice to have)
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Located in UK.
