Role Description

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Country Manager – South Korea to lead and grow our operations in the Korean market.

  • Take full ownership of the Korean market, developing and executing strategic plans to grow our client base, revenue, and brand presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, affiliates, and stakeholders in Korea.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion, including lead generation, local marketing channels, and strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee onboarding and engagement of trading clients, affiliates, IBs, Money Managers, and other partners, ensuring an excellent client experience.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, working closely with marketing, customer support, and operations to drive business success.
  • Represent FP Markets in Thailand at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in FX/CFD and online trading industry (preferably for Korean region).
  • 1+ years in a management or leadership role in sales, business development, or partner management.
  • Fluent in Korean with good English proficiency.
  • Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Your Journey to FP Markets

  • Initial Interview with People Function (30 min): Evaluate alignment with company culture and values.
  • Second Interview with Hiring Manager (45–60 min): Assess fit for the role and leadership capabilities.
  • Final Interview with Management (45 - 60 min) for further assess leadership fit, strategic thinking, and alignment with the company’s goals and direction.
