Role Description

The Experience Services Competency within Salesforce Professional Services is seeking a Business Strategy Director. The Business Strategy Director is responsible for ensuring overall delivery excellence and quality across Salesforce Professional Services customers.

• Partnering with C-level customers to craft innovative, industry-specific strategies.
• Driving scale, speed to value, and a sustained landscape for future success.
• Bringing deep expertise in enterprise business strategy, operating model design, and value realization.
• Translating customer ambitions into actionable, multi-year programs.
• Striving to better understand and improve processes to help the Experience Services team thrive.
• Ensuring customer and Salesforce Professional Services success through collaboration with other roles on customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in customer-facing roles leading complex experience-led engagements.
• Proven experience working with customers or internally at companies within the Financial Services and/or Life Sciences industries.
• Strong understanding of key business value drivers and success metrics typical of large-enterprise organizations.
• Salesforce product knowledge and solution design experience is required.
• Experience in Business Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Product Management, Agile, Program Governance, and/or Value Realization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize information effectively.
• Consistent track record of building customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel when required (up to 25-30% of the time).

Requirements

• Provide business strategy subject matter expertise during delivery cycles.
• Perform and distill customer, industry, and end-user research.
• Conduct assessments and facilitate workshops to develop future-state operating models.
• Develop multi-year, strategic roadmaps that prioritize investments.
• Perform business value assessment and gain alignment to develop strategic use cases.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, engagement, and buy-in across functions.
• Collaborate closely with program management, experience design, change management, and technical teams.
• Coach and develop other Business Strategists and project team members.
• Support building the Business Strategy capability within the Experience Services Competency.
