Role Description

This is a remote position.

The Business Development Executive will drive growth for a construction-tech startup by onboarding truck operators and construction material suppliers while acquiring buyers such as developers, contractors, site engineers, and individuals building across Lagos. The role involves:

• Lead generation
• Pitching and demonstrating the platform
• Closing deals
• Driving first orders
• Maintaining supplier relationships
• Tracking the sales pipeline

The ideal candidate should have:

• 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in construction, real estate, logistics, or marketplace platforms
• Strong communication, negotiation, and field sales skills
• An existing Lagos construction or logistics network is a major advantage

Salary: ₦150k + commission.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in B2B sales, logistics, construction, or marketplace platforms
• Existing network in construction, real estate, or logistics in Lagos is a huge advantage
• Self-starter, target-driven, and comfortable selling a new product
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Must be comfortable visiting construction sites and meeting clients physically
• Laptop + smartphone + ability to work remotely
