[Hiring] Business Development Associate @Spiralyze

Role Description

We're looking for a confident communicator to join our sales team. In this role, you'll introduce our services to marketing executives across the United States, identify potential opportunities, and schedule qualified meetings for our sales team.

Previous cold-calling or B2B sales experience is helpful but not essential. We welcome applications from recent graduates, career changers, and motivated individuals with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect: Make outbound cold calls to marketing executives and business decision-makers across the United States.
• Engage: Speak with decision-makers such as Marketing Directors, Marketing Managers, Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs), Digital Marketing Managers, Growth Marketing Managers, Brand Managers, and business owners.
• Present: Introduce our services in a clear, professional, and conversational manner.
• Qualify: Build rapport, ask thoughtful qualifying questions, and identify prospective clients who are a good fit for our services.
• Handle objections: Respond professionally to common questions and objections while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Book meetings: Schedule qualified appointments for our sales team and ensure accurate calendar coordination.
• Maintain records: Keep accurate CRM records, including call outcomes, notes, and follow-up activities.
• Improve continuously: Participate in call reviews, role-play sessions, and ongoing coaching to strengthen your sales skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication: Clear spoken English that can be easily understood by customers in the United States.
• Confidence: Comfortable speaking with senior business decision-makers over the phone.
• Active listening: Able to ask insightful questions and understand customer needs.
• Coachability: Welcomes feedback and applies it to improve performance.
• Resilience: Maintains a positive attitude and persistence when facing rejection.
• Curiosity: Enjoys learning about businesses and uncovering opportunities through conversation.
• Organisation: Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately maintain CRM records and follow-up activities.
• Fast learner: Quickly understands new products, services, and sales techniques.
• Professionalism: Represents the company with confidence and integrity in every interaction.
• Natural communication: Able to follow a structured sales process while sounding authentic and conversational, rather than reading mechanically from a script.

Nice to Have

• Experience: Previous experience in marketing, cold calling, telesales, appointment setting, customer service, or B2B sales is preferred but not required. We believe communication skills, coachability, and a willingness to learn are stronger predictors of success than experience alone.

Benefits

• Comprehensive training: Learn our products, services, and proven outbound sales process.
• Ongoing coaching: Receive regular feedback, call reviews, and mentoring to help you succeed.
• Career development: Build highly transferable communication, negotiation, and business development skills.
• Remote flexibility: Work remotely with a supportive team.
• Competitive pay: Earn USD $4–$8 per hour, depending on relevant experience, communication skills, demonstrated sales ability, and overall fit for the role. Bonuses are available for strong performance, including qualified meetings successfully booked.
• Growth opportunities: This role has the potential to become an ongoing position for the right candidate, with opportunities for growth as you develop your skills and contribute to the team's success.
