Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to help Pharmavise expand its presence in the life sciences consulting industry. The BDM will play a critical role in driving new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account acquisition, proposal writing, and business development within the life sciences sector.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow a small business and directly contribute to Pharmavise’s expansion. The ideal candidate has experience selling consulting, project-based services, or professional staffing solutions in the life sciences industry and is comfortable owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and close. This role works closely with the CEO and internal subject matter experts and offers the opportunity to grow into broader leadership responsibilities as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 5-8 years of business development, B2B sales, or account management experience in the life sciences or staffing/recruitment industry, with at least 2 years of experience in business development management.
• Strong experience in proposal writing and managing client relationships is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success closing complex, consultative deals and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong experience owning proposal development and managing the full sales cycle.
• In-depth understanding of the life sciences or staffing/recruitment industry.

• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable operating in a lean, high-accountability environment.
• Experience leveraging LinkedIn and CRM tools to support pipeline development and account-based selling.
