Role Description

SteadyState is looking for professionals who can make meaningful introductions to organizations that may need our work. You don't have to become a salesperson, prospect, or run the sale. Your responsibility is to make the right introduction; we take it from there.

What We Do

• SteadyState™ Work Partners is a human capital consulting firm specializing in human capital risk mitigation.
• We work with organizations when a valuable person's actions or inaction create business consequences.
• Our proprietary TAU Core™ intervention develops the I Caught Myself Reflex™.
• TAU Core™ includes an in-person component delivered in Austin, Texas.

What Counts as a Referral

• A referral is more than the name of a company; you know the person and make the introduction.
• Example of a referral: “I know the HR leader at ABC Company. I've told her about SteadyState and that the service includes participation in Austin. She's interested in talking with you. I'll introduce you.”
• You don't have to sell the service or determine whether it's right for them.

Who You Might Know

• An organization dealing with a valuable employee they don't want to lose.
• A manager whose actions or inaction keep creating problems.
• Recurring conflict, complaints, or performance incidents.
• Customer or business consequences tied to employee behavior.
• Someone the organization has already invested substantially in developing.
• A problem that training, coaching, or other interventions haven't resolved.

Compensation

• 5% of collected revenue on eligible new business resulting from your qualifying referral.
• Example: One $25,000 engagement = $1,250 referral commission.
• No minimum number of referrals required; make one introduction or several.
• If an eligible referral becomes a paying SteadyState client and SteadyState collects the revenue, you get paid.
• If the referral does not result in collected revenue, no commission is earned.

What You Don't Have to Do

• Prospecting or cold calling.
• Managing a sales pipeline.
• Conducting sales meetings.
• Preparing proposals.
• Negotiating the engagement.
• Closing the sale.
• Meeting sales quotas.

Where You Will Work

• You can be located anywhere in the United States.
• No set schedule and no required volume of referrals.
• Your connections may be in Texas or elsewhere, but the organization must be willing to send participants to Austin for in-person work.
• This opportunity can exist alongside your current career, consulting work, business, retirement, or other professional activities.
