[Hiring] Water/Wastewater Treatment Operator @Broadbent & Associates, Inc

Role Description

Broadbent is seeking a Water and/or Wastewater Operator with a minimum Grade II ADEQ Operator Certifications (AAC Title 18, Chapter 5). The successful candidate will:

• Conduct wastewater treatment plant operation, maintenance activities, and training.
• Assist in water supply, treatment, and distribution.
• Provide services for small rural facilities located throughout Arizona.
• Work independently in field conditions under the supervision of the Division Manager.
• Desire and ability to train other operators.

Position will be based at the Tempe, Arizona office location, but remote work is a possible option depending on experience.

The ability to become a Grade III operator is preferred; the ability to hold both Water and Wastewater certifications is preferred; classes, testing fees, and study materials will be provided by Broadbent.

Qualifications

• ADEQ Certified Grade II Water and/or Wastewater Operator required (AAC R18-5-406 & 407).
• One or more of the following certifications:
  • Grade 2 Water Distribution System Operator
  • Grade 2 Wastewater Collection System Operator
  • Grade 2 Water Treatment System Operator
  • Grade 2 Wastewater Treatment System Operator
• General knowledge of commercial electrical systems (control wiring and pumps).
• General knowledge of commercial plumbing methods.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Previous commercial/industry experience.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Able to travel within the western regional US.
