Role Description

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. The position is for a Music & Lyrics Expert - Turkish on a contract basis.

• Evaluate AI-generated music across various genres and rate it against quality standards.
• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities.
• Rate lyrics based on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
• Assess if lyrics sound natural, focusing on word choice, slang, and regional expressions.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Turkish.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist.
• Knowledge of the Turkish music scene.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Requirements

• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition (preferred).
• Credited or published songwriting work (preferred).
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Turkish genres, sub-genres, and artists (preferred).

Benefits

• Compensation: $17–$45/hour.
• Location: Remote.
• Duration: Up to 6 months.
• Commitment: 20+ hours/week.
