Role Description

This role involves providing classroom instruction to new and existing team members on a variety of revenue cycle topics, with emphasis on the technologies and processes team members need to know to perform their jobs.

Present information using a variety of instructional techniques to meet educational objectives and regulatory compliance requirements.
Techniques include role playing, simulation, team exercises, group discussions, videos, e-learning, and lectures.
Provide other types of training beyond the typical classroom setting, such as small group precepting, desk-side support, and virtual conferences.
Provide onsite or virtual go-live support to revenue cycle team members during implementations and significant operational changes.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training activities and the progress of learners.
Provide feedback to Revenue Cycle Training leaders on team members' performance.
Assist with development and refinement of training materials.
Maintain a high level of revenue cycle knowledge to support existing team members.
Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve support issues.
Stay up-to-date with changes to training materials and industry best practices.
Provide support to Quality & Systems and Workflow Optimization teams through process validation and testing.
Assist HIT project teams in testing and training of new applications within system revenue cycle areas.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Business or related field, or Bachelor's Degree in Education.
Typically requires 3 years of experience in adult education or healthcare revenue cycle with demonstrated training skills.

Requirements

Exceptionally strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to effectively present conclusions and recommendations in front of groups.
Effective critical thinking, creativity, problem solving, and decision making skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), or similar products.
Ability to learn other applications proficiently.
Demonstrated teaching skills that promote learner involvement.
Innovative coaching and counseling skills when dealing with education and development issues.
