Role Description

We are looking for a Workday Developer with experience creating integrations inbound and outbound from the Workday ERP Cloud application. Ideal candidate will have experience in developing Workday Integrations for one or all the following: Finance, Accounts Payable, and Supply Chain.

Create, modify, and design Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Connector, Extend, and Orchestrate.
Design and develop components and/or reports for Workday integrations that include use of Workday BIRT, REST/SOAP API, calculated fields, integration security, custom reports, XML transformations.
Comply with established coding standards and development processes to ensure quality.
Analyze system requirements and existing business processes and information systems; participate in business process reviews.
Assist in systems planning, scheduling, and implementation; initiate corrective action to stay on schedule.
Assist with server troubleshooting/configuration and architecture.
Design and develop components for all application tiers, business logic, security, and web services.
Create prototypes and code, test, debug, document, and implement moderately complex integrations and software applications.
Assist and provide guidance to other staff on issues related to Workday development; assist with the development and maintenance of internal training material.
Support production, testing, and development tenants including rotational on-call support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
Typically requires 3 years of experience in developing Java applications.

Requirements

Experience with Workday Studio for complex integrations.
Knowledge of Workday Integration Cloud – EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) and Core Connectors.
Ability to develop custom applications within Workday using Workday Extend.
Custom reporting experience with Workday BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools).
Understanding of Workday REST/SOAP APIs for integration.
Creating and managing calculated fields for reporting and business logic using Workday Calculated Fields.
Configuring integration security, security groups, and workflow automation using Workday Security & Business Process Frameworks.
Programming and development skills in XSLT, XML, JSON for data transformation and integrations.
Additional programming and development skills a plus including Java, Python, or other scripting languages.
Report writing – creating Workday advanced reports and composite reports.
Business Process Configuration – setting up and optimizing workflows.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or other project-tracking tools.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools such as SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Familiarity with configuring applications and required security on Microsoft-based servers.
Attention to software quality, using tools and methods such as source control, unit testing, debugging, and continuous integration.
Ability to interact and work through technical requirements with clients to formulate and document project design and implementation requirements.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills when consulting with internal and external partners.
Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to gather and organize data.
Strong problem and issue resolution skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, set appropriate priorities, and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely manner.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Must have functional vision and ability to use a computer the majority of the day.
Position requires some travel; may be exposed to road and weather hazards.
Generally exposed to a normal office environment.

Pay Range

$37.50 - $56.25
