[Hiring] Solutions Engineer @Whippy

Role Description

The Solutions Engineer at Whippy plays a critical role in bridging the technical aspects of our product with the needs of our customers. This position involves:

• Designing solutions for complex deals, including product integration with the prospect's ATS.
• Owning technical deep dive calls with prospects and their IT admins.
• Building prospect-specific sandboxes and working AI agents for proof.
• Managing RFPs and security reviews to allow AEs to focus on selling.
• Traveling with the sales team as the technical face of Whippy at industry shows and customer sites.
• Designing deployment architecture for enterprise accounts and ensuring healthy, documented implementations.
• Handling technical escalations beyond standard support.
• Creating a pattern library for documented, reusable playbooks from solved deployments.
• Providing feedback to engineering on deal losses and prospect requests.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Senior Implementation Engineer in staffing technology, ATS ecosystems, or CCaaS and business telephony.
• Ability to read API documentation fluently and test endpoints without an engineer.
• Experience in building or configuring AI agents or IVR flows.
• Capability to run technical demos solo under challenging questioning.
• Strong documentation skills that result in practical usage.
• Ability to explain architecture in plain English to business owners and engage with IT teams.
