[Hiring] Solutions Architect @Poolside

Role Description
Be the liaison between our Enterprise customers and our Cloud Engineers. Solution Architects onboard new customers to ensure that customers are able to install, manage and monitor poolside's platform.
Your mission is to work with customers to deliver a scalable poolside product by customizing the deployment scripts to fit specific customer infrastructure requirements.
- Support the engineering team to design and implement performant, secure, and scalable solutions while building a standard poolside platform.
Qualifications
- Experience in collaborating with customers to adapt the cloud architecture to the customer reality while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectures, configurations, procedures, and customer interactions.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Comfortable with distributed systems.
- Experience with data pipelines, distributed processing, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, Google pub/sub).
- Experience with managed services and storage in clouds such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Experience with developer experience tools.
- Worked on CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization in production environments.
- Experience in either Go, Ruby, or Python (open to people from other languages) is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, k8s, Terraform, and baremetal.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
- Active TS/SCI Clearance Preferred.
