[Hiring] Member of Engineering (Security) @Poolside
Feb 25, 2025 - Poolside is hiring a remote Member of Engineering (Security). 💸 Salary: unspecified. 📍Location: Northern America, Europe.
Role Description
You would be working as part of our Infrastructure Engineering team, focused on building the correct framework for poolside to operate in a secure fashion. This will span security assessment of existing systems as well as laying the foundations for compliance with key security frameworks, as well as building processes to ensure we maintain healthy security reflexes without slowing development velocity.
Your Mission
- Lead security initiatives at poolside.
- Ensure that security processes do not hurt development velocity.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement authentication and authorization policies company wide.
- Take responsibility for building comprehensive security reports.
- Lead our efforts to get official ISO, SOC2t2, and more certifications.
- Help build up our security incident response framework.
- Work as part of a team: plan future steps, discuss, and communicate clearly with your peers.
Skills & Experience
- Experience with the auditing and certification process for major security certifications.
- Experience working with security researchers.
- Solid grasp of IT infrastructure automation as this position is embedded in the infrastructure team.
- Engineering experience.
- DevOps: Git, Docker, k8s, Terraform, baremetal.
- Monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
- Strong algorithmic skills.
- Use modern tools and are always looking to improve.

- Team-fit call with Beatriz, our Head of People.
- Final interview with Eiso, our CTO & Co-Founder.
