Role Description

You'll be our technical authority in the field and the customer's technical point of contact through pre-sales - winning the deal from a technical standpoint:

• From the first deep session, through scoping and the evaluation, to the handoff once they go live.
• Work closely with sales on deal support.
• Collaborate with our field technical lead on scoping and delivery.
• Coordinate with research on output quality.
• Engage with product on future developments.

What you will own

• Evidence and narrative: Define how the technical story is told and ensure it withstands customer scrutiny.
• Technical scoping: Scope, environment topology, access model, exclusions, and technical success criteria.
• Evaluation execution: Access setup, kickoff prep, monitoring, checkpoints, and readout content.
• Tier 1 support during a live evaluation: First point of contact during a PoV, resolving issues and routing others with detail.
• Enterprise security review: Provide technical answers to questionnaires, architecture reviews, and deployment-model requirements.
• Technical demos and methodology sessions: Explain how the technology works and how it compares to alternatives.
• Demo environment and reusable assets: Design and build technical assets that support the GTM team.
• Handoff and product feedback: Collaborate with GTM and Product to ensure customer expectations are met and provide feedback for the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Offensive security background: pentester, red teamer, or security researcher.
• Understanding of how an attacker thinks and how to convey it to both executives and technical teams.
• Hands-on experience leading enterprise evaluations or technical PoVs.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to win methodology arguments with a customer's security staff.
• Clear writing skills for technical narratives and questionnaire answers.
• Comfort with a fast-moving product environment.
• Problem solver - independent, capable of resolving issues and writing code.

Requirements

• The annual US salary range for this role is: $175,000 - $200,000.
