Role Description

As a Sr Principal Solution Consultant, you will collaborate closely with AspenTech sales teams to lead consultative discovery sessions, craft visionary solutions, and design strategies tailored to customer needs.

• Lead and execute the technical qualification of solutions to a business outcome.
• Understand the Metals & Mining, LNG, Specialty Chemicals and Polymer markets regionally, staying abreast of developments in the industry and customer base.
• Learn the complete AspenTech product portfolio to identify and apply products to solve real customer business challenges.
• Develop messaging and materials necessary to position AspenTech solutions in the relevant industries.
• Accompany the Sales Team to meet with customers to articulate the broader vision for AspenTech.
• Demonstrate how AspenTech delivers significant value through a program of solutions.
• Engage the Senior Executive Level of customer organizations to paint the vision of how AspenTech can be a partner in their Digitalization journey.
• Develop industry-specific solutions, aligning technology with measurable business value.
• Provide market input to the Product Management Teams to improve solution adoption.
• Identify and lead sales campaigns to improve AspenTech reach in the relevant markets.
• Train & educate Sales Account Managers and Solution Consultants on engaging customers effectively.
• Present AspenTech solutions at major trade-shows and events globally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Metals & Mining, LNG, Specialty Chemicals and Polymer industries selling software solutions.
• Engineering Degree preferred.
• Experienced in all aspects of the relevant industries, best practices and processes.
• Proficiency in one or several AspenTech Solution areas, particularly Asset Performance Management, Advanced Control & Optimization, Digital Twins, and Data Historization & Fabric.
• Knowledge of AI/ML solutions and their application in solutions and industry.
• Strong ability to bridge technology and business, articulating high-level technical solutions and their differentiated value.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills based on stakeholder interactions and data insights.
• Strong drive to convert opportunities into recognized value for customers.
• Travel up to 35%.
