[Hiring] Senior Principal Implementation Consultant @Thomson Reuters

Role Description

This is an individual contributor role, not a team lead position. Candidates should bring deep ONESOURCE Direct Tax expertise from day one. This is not a learn-as-you-go role. We want someone who builds. You work directly with AI, Power Automate, and other next-gen tools yourself.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer teams to scope projects
• Lead customer engagements, design solutions, and manage scope, timeline, and delivery
• Conduct customer-facing Best Practice Reviews, present recommendations, and scope remediation
• Build quick proofs-of-concept that show customers the future state
• Use AI to develop repeatable tools, processes, and practices that improve efficiency and profitability
• Drive expansion opportunities
• Work on multiple projects concurrently
• Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for clients
• Share best practices and informally mentor colleagues

Qualifications

• 10+ years in professional services or similar, implementing ONESOURCE Direct Tax solutions
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI (e.g., Claude) to build customer solutions
• Expert-level knowledge in implementing:
  • ASC 740 tax provision processes
  • ONESOURCE Tax Provision (or ONESOURCE Income Tax), Workpapers, and Data Import
  • ONESOURCE DataFlow
  • ONESOURCE APIs
  • Power Automate, Alteryx, KNIME (or similar) for ONESOURCE and tax-centric automations
  • Power BI or similar API-enabled dashboards
  • Advanced Excel-based tax workbooks (Power Query, OData connections, dynamic arrays, Data Validation, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in taxation, accounting, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills
