Role Description

The Implementation Consultant reports to the Senior Manager, Client Delivery and delivers a broad range of customer consulting services across both VeraCore and Advantzware. Engagements may include:

• Software implementation activities
• Workflow reviews
• Health checks
• Solution optimization
• Best practice consulting
• Onsite and virtual training
• Other customer success initiatives

This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them improve operational efficiency, increase product adoption, and achieve measurable business outcomes. You'll be expected to use AI-driven tools to improve customer documentation, training materials, solution recommendations, project planning, and customer communications to deliver exceptional service and accelerate customer value.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver customer consulting engagements across both VeraCore and Advantzware, including implementation activities, workflow reviews, health checks, optimization services, and training.
• Lead discovery sessions to understand customer business processes, operational challenges, and objectives.
• Conduct workflow reviews and operational assessments to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and improved software utilization.
• Deliver onsite and virtual training for administrators, power users, and operational teams, ensuring customers are equipped to maximize product capabilities.
• Provide consultative recommendations based on industry best practices and customer business goals while promoting scalable use of standard product functionality.
• Configure application functionality and support solution validation activities as needed to meet customer requirements.
• Serve as the primary customer advisor throughout consulting engagements, building trusted relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Consultants, Customer Success, Support, Product, and Development teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Identify customer risks, adoption challenges, and optimization opportunities, developing actionable recommendations that improve long-term success.
• Document customer engagements, recommendations, and action plans using AI-assisted documentation and productivity tools where appropriate.
• Maintain deep functional expertise across both VeraCore and Advantzware while continuously expanding product knowledge and consulting best practices.
• Maintain high billable utilization while consistently delivering high-quality consulting engagements and exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Travel throughout North America to conduct onsite workshops, consulting engagements, training sessions, health checks, and customer meetings.

• AI & Technology Fluency – Leverages AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve documentation, customer communications, knowledge transfer, and overall consulting effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise software consulting, implementation, or Professional Services experience.
• Demonstrated success leading customer-facing consulting engagements within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
• Experience with warehouse management, fulfillment, distribution, ERP, order management, or supply chain software solutions.
• Strong business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution consulting skills.
• Experience delivering onsite and virtual customer training and facilitating workshops.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent customer engagements while maintaining exceptional quality and responsiveness.
• Experience using AI tools to improve documentation, planning, communications, and productivity.

Preferred

• Experience with VeraCore and/or Advantzware.
• Experience supporting software implementations, optimization engagements, or business process improvement initiatives.
• SQL experience and familiarity with data imports, validation, reporting, and server migrations.
• Experience with APIs, EDI, or third-party integrations.
• Experience with warehouse operations, ecommerce fulfillment, inventory management, transportation, or distribution operations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, PSA tools, or enterprise project management platforms.

Travel

40–60% throughout North America to support onsite customer consulting engagements, training, health checks, workshops, and implementation activities. Prefer Tampa, FL; open to US-based remote.
