[Hiring] Senior Manager, Environmental Sustainability Programs @Carrier

Role Description

The Senior Manager, Environmental Sustainability Programs will lead complex cross-functional sustainability initiatives and implementation efforts that support Carrier’s climate strategy, environmental programs, sustainability disclosures and regulatory readiness. The role will translate regulatory, investor, customer and business requirements into practical actions and implementation plans, combining strategic perspective, sound judgment and disciplined execution.

The role will partner across various departments to advance enterprise sustainability priorities while maintaining a strong climate and environmental focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate sustainability, environmental programs, sustainability consulting, or regulatory disclosure.
• Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the year.

Requirements

• Lead sustainability initiatives and implementation efforts with a strong focus on climate and environmental priorities.
• Support sustainability disclosures, public reporting and regulatory-readiness activities.
• Support investor, customer and other stakeholder sustainability inquiries, ratings and rankings, and external sustainability assessments.
• Build alignment across functions, facilitate decisions and issue resolution, and lead project teams through influence in a matrixed environment.
• Partner with data, systems, controls and functional owners to define environmental metric requirements.
• Provide environmental subject-matter support for the Sustainability and Impact Report.
