Role Description

We are seeking experienced Senior Cargo and Parcel Claims Examiners to contribute industry expertise to an AI training project focused on air cargo and parcel delivery claims. The role involves:

• Reviewing shipment documentation, analyzing photographic evidence, resolving delivery disputes, and preparing well-supported custody and liability determinations.
• Prior AI experience is not required.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in air cargo, ground handling, or parcel carrier claims examination and dispute resolution.
• Strong knowledge of custody determination, release procedures, and liability assessment in air and ground freight operations.
• Proven experience handling parcel delivery disputes and interpreting freight documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and documentation abilities.
• Experience reviewing shipment photographs and preparing evidence-based claim determinations.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet project deadlines.
• Experience contributing to claims process improvements, quality audits, or operational reviews is an advantage.

Requirements

• Review cargo and parcel claims documentation, including air waybills, shipment photographs, delivery records, and supporting evidence.
• Assess shipment evidence to determine custody, liability, and compliance with applicable release procedures.
• Prepare clear, concise, and well-reasoned written determinations regarding custody and liability.
• Investigate delivery photo disputes and evaluate visual and written evidence to support claim decisions.
• Identify inconsistencies, missing information, and procedural issues in freight documentation and claims submissions.
• Apply industry knowledge to assess disputed shipments and support accurate claims outcomes.
• Provide expert feedback to improve AI-powered claims processing and evaluation workflows.
