[Hiring] SAP Functional Payroll Analyst @Support Revolution

Role Description

Join one of the world’s leading independent enterprise software support providers and become the SAP Payroll expert that helps organisations stay compliant with ever-changing UK payroll legislation. We're looking for an experienced SAP Functional Payroll Analyst to join our Tax, Legal & Regulatory (TLR) team. This is a specialist functional role supporting SAP HCM Payroll customers across the UK, with a strong focus on Public Sector Payroll and annual legislative updates.

As our SAP Payroll functional expert, you'll:

• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP UK Payroll functional requirements, specialising in Public Sector Payroll.
• Analyse annual UK payroll legislation changes and translate them into Agile user stories, functional specifications, and SAP configuration.
• Configure SAP HCM Payroll to deliver legislative updates and customer change requests.
• Work closely with development teams throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle to design and deliver high-quality payroll solutions.
• Work directly with UK customers, understanding complex payroll requirements and providing trusted functional advice.
• Produce clear functional documentation and communicate complex legislative requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform functional validation, unit testing and support end-to-end testing to ensure legislative compliance.
• Mentor QA teams on payroll testing approaches, expected outcomes and best practice.
• Provide trusted advice to customers on payroll legislation, SAP Payroll functionality and best practice.
• Support customer projects requiring specialist SAP Payroll functional expertise.
• Support complex Public Sector payroll scenarios including:
  • RTI (Real Time Information)
  • Multiple Employment
  • Payroll sequencing
  • Backdated pay awards
  • Payroll Administration Legislative compliance
• Contribute to continuous improvement across our Tax, Legal & Regulatory services, including exploring opportunities to leverage AI and automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' SAP Functional experience.
• Strong SAP HCM Payroll configuration experience.
• Experience supporting SAP ECC Payroll environments.
• Excellent knowledge of UK payroll legislation and annual legislative updates.
• Experience delivering end-to-end payroll processing.
• Experience producing functional specifications and translating legislation into SAP solutions.
• Strong understanding of:
  • RTI (Real Time Information)
  • Payroll sequencing
  • Payroll administration
  • Multiple Employment
  • Public Sector payroll requirements
• Experience working with Local Government, Education, NHS, or other Public Sector organisations would be highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex payroll legislation clearly.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring colleagues and sharing knowledge.
