[Hiring] Procurement and Contracts Officer @Shire of Wyndham

Role Description

We are looking for a Procurement and Contract Support Officer to join our Procurement Team. In this position, you will be providing crucial support in procurement and contracting activities to ensure alignment with our organisational compliance and goals.

• Assisting with the delivery of efficient, effective and compliant procurement and contract management arrangements;
• Assisting with developing, implementing and maintaining the Shire’s procurement and contract management framework;
• Assisting with coordinating tender and quotation processes;
• Assisting with auditing contract management for the organisation;
• Assisting with managing and reviewing the procurement for the Shire’s term contracts and pre-qualified supplier panel arrangements for the supply of operational goods and services;
• Participating in the development, implementation, monitoring and review of procurement policies and procedures and key performance indicators.

Qualifications

• Business Administration Qualifications in procurement, business or commerce;
• A current unrestricted WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence.

Requirements

• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia and will be required to provide evidence of this entitlement — acceptable evidence includes an Australian or New Zealand passport, birth certificate, or foreign passport with a relevant visa.
• Applicants will also be required to provide a National Police Clearance before the interview stage of the recruitment process.
