Role Description

If the Sr. Premier Play Manager sets the strategy for our global competitive ecosystem, you are the one who runs it on the ground, worldwide. Reporting to the Sr. Premier Play Manager, you own the execution of our Premier Events outside of Europe (Riftbound Regionals, Riftbound Continentals, and, in time, World Championship stages across North America, LATAM, and APAC).

You will manage highly competitive integrations within partner networks (such as Riot's ecosystem) on a global scale. You are the ultimate guardian of competitive integrity and the premium player experience across every region you cover.

Key Responsibilities

• Premier Tournament Operations (Global, excl. EMEA): Plan, scale, and execute Premier Play events across every region outside Europe. Manage tournament structures, round timings, prizing logistics, side event programming, and the physical setup of competitive play areas.
• Strategic Partner Integration: Work closely with IP partners (like Riot Games), event partners, and their established esports/competitive networks to align our tabletop organized play with their broader digital and physical ecosystems, region by region.
• The “Unmissable” Festival Experience: Own the end-to-end journey of every attendee at the events. Bring bold creativity to build a welcoming, vibrant “festival concept” for competitors and casual fans alike.
• Cross-Functional Event Coordination: Partner closely with the Judge Program Manager and the Broadcast & Content Manager to ensure every Regional Qualifier and Regional Championship runs as one seamless operation on-site.
• Global Strategy, Local Execution: Work in lockstep with the Sr. Premier Play Manager to translate the global competitive strategy into flawless on-the-ground delivery at each event, and feed field insights back into that strategy.
• Data & Feedback: Monitor the health of the competitive meta and gather direct feedback from pro-level players to inform our global Game Design and Organized Play teams.
• Deliver Brand Immersion: Work alongside the Sr. Premier Play Manager to identify competitions, activations, and experiences that showcase our brands in ways that best represent their uniqueness.

• The Guardian of Fairness: Obsessed with competitive integrity, understanding tournament software, tie-breakers, and the logistics required to run a 2,000-player Swiss bracket flawlessly.
• Player-Obsessed: Understand the psychology of a competitive TCG player and what makes a prize wall exciting, a venue comfortable for long tournaments, and a community thrive.
• Diplomatic & Tactful: Calm under pressure, managing high-pressure situations with equity and empathy.
• Highly Confidential & Strategic: Handle sensitive IP information and coordinate complex events with global partners.
• Built for the Road: Comfortable running events autonomously, spending the majority of the event season on the road across multiple regions and time zones.

Nice to Have Qualities

• Experience in Organized Play management and operations, or managing large-scale competitive TCG tournaments.
• Gaming DNA: Deep understanding of the TCG community and competitive gaming structures.
• Cultural Affinity (Bonus): Personal interest in Pop Culture, Video Games, or Entertainment.
• Languages: Native or fluent English (C1/C2). Additional languages are a plus.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel between 12 and 15 weeks a year across North America, LATAM, and APAC, including weekends during peak event seasons.
