Role Description

UNICEF’s Migration and Displacement Hub leads strategic partnerships, programme development, and coordination for the PROSPECTS programme, supporting UNICEF offices in advancing the protection, inclusion, and opportunities of children and young people on the move. This consultancy will support:

• Policy analysis
• Evidence generation
• Strategic policy engagement in global forums

The assignment will play a key role in:

• Consolidating programme achievements
• Influencing policy outcomes
• Supporting the delivery of results for displaced children and young people

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in international human rights law, international relations, public policy, international development, or a related field. Law degree preferred.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of programme coordination experience in refugee protection and migration, including at global level.
• Prior experience working with complex partnerships of UN/multilateral institutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in forced displacement.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; another UN language is a bonus.

• Commitment and drive, with a clear focus on results.
• Ability to juggle competing priorities under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Prior experience with the Prospects Partnership.
• Knowledge of Global Compact on Refugees.
