Role Description
This role involves working as a Mortgage Funder at Dominion Financial Services (DFS), a mortgage originator for single-family real estate.
- Thoroughly review executed mortgage documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Identify and address any exceptions or discrepancies in the executed documents, working with title companies to resolve issues promptly.
- Provide final approval and authorization for the disbursement of funds once all executed documents are received and exceptions are satisfied.
- Communicate with loan processors and title companies to obtain necessary documentation and clarify any outstanding issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all funding transactions and related communications.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent delays in the funding process.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a high-volume mortgage environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents and identifying discrepancies.
Requirements
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients by addressing inquiries and providing timely updates on the funding status.
