Role Description

Accenture Federal Services delivers advanced modeling, simulation, and synthetic training solutions that help US Federal and Defense, and its coalition partners build and sustain readiness across all domains. We are seeking a senior leader to run the COE and accelerate the maturity and delivery of the capability so it outpaces mission needs.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will own the reference architecture and standards for our synthetic training environment, integrate the mix of simulations, game engines, command-and-control systems, and terrain into one interoperable environment, and guide the delivery and demonstration cadence that keeps it materially relevant to the mission in an accelerating needs landscape.

The work includes:

• Own the technical direction
• Set and maintain the reference architecture and interoperability standards for the LVC / synthetic training environment
• Establish the engineering standards, integration patterns, and quality and security gates
• Evaluate tools and technologies across the ecosystem
• Architect and integrate the environment
• Lead the design and integration of the composable synthetic environment end to end
• Translate operational and technical requirements into a differentiated, defensible solution and value proposition
• Own model and environment verification, validation, and configuration management
• Guide delivery and demonstrations
• Guide delivery of the capability, including demonstrations and exercise support
• Plan and run demonstrations and events
• Recommend where to invest to sustain long-term technical differentiation
• Build and lead the team
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent
• Manage the partner and vendor ecosystem
• Coach engineers and partners on the integrated toolset
• Grow the practice
• Contribute to the growth strategy for LVC training and simulation
• Build and sustain trusted relationships across DoD and coalition training and readiness stakeholders
• Build and qualify a pipeline aligned to our priorities

Qualifications

• Deep, current knowledge of the composable LVC / synthetic-training ecosystem
• 10+ years in modeling, simulation, and synthetic training
• Experience leading technical delivery teams
• A hands-on, action-oriented leader
• Significant DoD experience and a working command of the federal acquisition process
• Active relationships within at least one major DoD or coalition training and readiness acquisition or operational ecosystem
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events (roughly 25%)
• S. Citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (Secret)

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with tools in this ecosystem (e.g., VBS4, Unity, Unreal)
• Palantir (PLTR) experience is a strong plus
• Experience applying AI and automation to synthetic environments
• Established relationships across the LVC / M&S partner and vendor ecosystem
• Familiarity with capture and proposal methodology (e.g., Shipley)
• An active Secret or Top Secret / SCI clearance
• A relevant advanced degree in engineering, computer science, operations research, or a related field
