[Hiring] Insurance Specialist - P&C Claims @BrightClaim

Role Description

This position manages an inventory of managed repair program claim assignments. Communicates with contractors regarding status, performs estimate reviews, and supports client adjusters and insurers on insurance restoration, water mitigation, and structural work assignments.

• Manage a portfolio of active claims and the contractors working on those assignments.
• Monitor assignments aging, statuses, and work product.
• Daily follow-up regarding open items and communications.
• Perform Quality Estimate reviews of Contractor estimates per client estimating guidelines.
• Communicate with Contractors regarding clarifications and required changes.
• Interact with Client Adjusters and Insureds providing process and technical support.
• Record journal or diary notes relating to claim results.
• Use tracking systems to manage activity.
• Assist with periodic special projects.
• Interact with Claim Manager regarding activity, questions, training, and all position needs.
• Provide input to company regarding contractor performance.

• Associate in Claims (AIC) - The Institutes (USA)
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) - ACFE
• Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) - American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) - Insurance Institute of America (IIA)
