[Hiring] Home & Garden Maintenance Workers @Ashfield Baptist Homes

Role Description

We are looking for home and garden maintenance workers to provide quality services for community clients. You will be responsible for providing home maintenance and garden (lawn mowing) services to support our elderly home care clients.

• Travelling between client homes throughout the day
• Providing services which can include:
  • Window cleaning
  • Minor home maintenance jobs
  • Replacing light bulbs
  • Lawn mowing
  • Weeding
  • Pruning of gardens for functional safety

Qualifications

• Current Australian drivers’ licence and willingness to drive company vehicle
• Knowledge of Sydney Metro area
• Passion for mowing lawns and basic gardening skills
• Access to a Smart phone
• Proven competence with verbal and written communication skills
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate, Visa etc)
• National Police Check (valid within the last 6 months) or the ability to obtain this
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills

• Mature aged and persons of CALD or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply
