Role Description
As a Founders Associate, you’ll work directly alongside our Chief of Staff and Founders on high-impact initiatives at Kota. This is a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in scaling a company, solve mission-critical challenges, and have high impact.
The role is fast-paced and dynamic, ideal for someone who thrives in problem-solving, driving change, and collaborating across teams.
As a key member of Kota’s team, you’ll support senior leaders across departments and track key projects to ensure execution and alignment with company goals.
- Strategic Projects: Identify and lead high-impact initiatives across Kota, tackling key business challenges and driving meaningful change.
- Problem-Solving: Dive into complex operational or strategic issues, diagnose pain points, and execute solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Operational Excellence: Track, monitor, and enhance key performance metrics to drive company-wide accountability and operational improvements.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Work across teams to align priorities, accelerate execution, and build the internal systems that enable teams to move faster with greater impact.
- Scaling Best Practices: Develop scalable frameworks, workflows, and playbooks to support Kota’s continued growth.
Qualifications
- Self-Starter & Highly Driven: You take initiative, thrive in fast-moving environments, and are motivated by ambitious challenges.
- Excellent Communicator: You communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring alignment across teams and building strong relationships.
- Analytical Problem-Solver: You can break down complex problems, manage ambiguity, and execute solutions independently.
- Experience in Finance, Fintech, or Financial Systems: You have some exposure to financial operations, fintech, payments, or related fields, and are comfortable working with numbers and financial processes.
- High Performer: You have a track record of excellence in your chosen field—whether in academics, work experience, or extracurricular achievements.
- Adaptable & Growth-Oriented: You’re eager to learn, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and excited about the opportunity to grow alongside a scaling business.
