Role Description
As a GEHO Service Technician, you will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support aftermarket services, sales, and business development while meeting customer requirements. You will be responsible for inspecting, supervising, and troubleshooting GEHO PD pumps and parts, diagnosing issues, and providing solutions. This role also involves conducting field maintenance and providing training on pump operations, with 25-50% travel to customer sites around the US.
- Oversee GEHO pump installations, commissioning, start-up, repairs, and maintenance tasks on customer sites.
- Provide technical service and supervision for GEHO products and ancillary equipment overhauls and upgrades.
- Collaborate with clients to develop proactive service plans that ensure equipment operates optimally and reduce downtime.
- Audit and recommend improvements to clients’ maintenance plans to increase reliability.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, demonstrating a commitment to zero-harm behaviors.
- Report findings, challenges, and solutions back to management to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with mining/mineral processing equipment and processes.
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical (low voltage) support experience.
- Must possess a valid passport for international travel.
- Experience with positive displacement pumps and mechatronics systems, including instrumentation and PLC-controlled equipment, is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
