[Hiring] Executive Admin @Security Level 5

Role Description

We're hiring for what's plausibly the most difficult, urgent, and interesting challenge in AI security engineering this decade (for humans, at least): designing and building the first datacenter purpose-built to Security Level 5, the standard for defending frontier AI labs against attackers with the resources of a nation-state and billion-dollar budgets. We're working on the first SL5 components this year and aiming for an at-scale SL5 datacenter build in 2027.

What you’d work on:

• Managing the CEO’s Calendar and Communications
• Helping with admin tasks such as expenses, booking trips, making appointments, etc.
• Meeting support: helping polish and prep documents, slide decks, etc.
• Proofreading & drafting short bits of writing for the CEO, e.g., on emails or outreach tasks
• Helping prioritize tasks / keep an eye out for ‘dropped balls’ on slack/email/task trackers

Qualifications

• Take pride in being exceptionally detail-oriented and conscientious in all your work.
• Stay unflappable when priorities change fast, and can hold many moving pieces without dropping any.
• Treat confidentiality as second nature and are at ease supporting an organization working on sensitive national-security-adjacent material.
• Are proactive and low-ego — you spot the thing that needs doing and do it, rather than waiting to be asked.
• Are exceptionally organized and calm under a shifting schedule, including complex multi-timezone and international travel.
• Communicate crisply in writing and can draft in someone else's voice.
• Thrive in an early-stage, build-it-as-we-go environment and are comfortable with ambiguity and standing up new processes.
• Are technically fluent enough to work in modern tools (calendar, docs, expense, project, and communication platforms) and to pick up new ones quickly.
• Care about the mission and want your operational work to compound into something that matters.

Requirements

• Bay Area, in-person.
• This role's base salary range is $80,000 - $130,000 USD per year.
• Open to part-time (paid on a per-hour basis) or remote setups are possible for this role.
• Part-time or remote agreements may have different compensation than the above.
• May be open to paying exceptional and/or highly experienced employees more than this.
