[Hiring] Digital Engagement Worker @Change Grow Live

Role Description

As a Digital Engagement Worker, you'll use technology and human connection to engage people experiencing lower-level drug and alcohol concerns through a programme of structured virtual support.

• Create safe and supportive spaces through telephone, Microsoft Teams, and other digital platforms.
• Deliver assessments, recovery planning, brief interventions, harm reduction advice, and ongoing support.
• Tailor your approach to individual needs and circumstances using motivational interviewing and trauma-informed approaches.
• Work closely with colleagues across Change Grow Live and local partner organisations to create seamless pathways between digital and community-based support.
• Support people across Swindon with occasional travel to local service locations as required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people affected by drug and alcohol use, or within related health, wellbeing, social care or community services.
• Genuine belief in people's ability to make positive changes in their lives.

Requirements

• Comfortable working digitally and building rapport remotely.
• Ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs.
