Role Description

As the Commercial Fuels Optimizer, you will be part of the Trading & Supply (T&S) organization, which is at the heart of Shell’s Downstream business. The T&S Global Supply and Commercial Fuels team acts as an integrator across Shell, enabling strong end-to-end value delivery. This is achieved by managing the physical supply chain, optimizing product disposition, and creating value through strategic deal-making.

Main purpose of the role is to maximize end-to-end enterprise value creation via:

• Maximizing Trading value
• Maximizing Distribution value
• Maximizing standalone Commercial Fuels value

This position is remote location, a virtual role.

Accountabilities:

• Support the delivery of T&S Commercial Fuels strategy, specifically play an active role in providing local market level Supply/Demand analysis for select inland markets to maximize E2E value of available product.
• Responsible for supporting rack supply strategy and rack procurement negotiations.
• Support daily pricing strategies in collaboration with Trading.
• Lead Commercial Fuels’ pricing activities for rack sales of gasoline, distillates, and low carbon fuels in collaboration with product trade desks.
• Lead integrator between Trading, Supply, Distribution and Commercial Fuels rack account managers.
• Support the Commercial Fuels Account Managers to deliver on their margin targets at a C3 level.
• Work collaboratively across various Products Trading desks to identify new value levers to maximize margins on current business and grow value growth with new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• This position is contingent upon the closing of a deal transaction.

• The base salary range for this position is $124,000 - $186,000 per year.
