Role Description
We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team to support the creation and ongoing development of Evio’s solutions for health plans and pharmaceutical manufacturers. This is an ideal opportunity for a pharmacist who strives to be a “utility player” leveraging their clinical acumen and analytical skills to do meaningful work that will transform pharmacy.
- Partner with digital health, contracting, and analytics team members across Evio to execute on a product roadmap that delights health plan and pharmaceutical manufacturer clients
- Serve as a clinical SME in the review of product documentation, medical policies, request for proposals (RFPs), marketing materials, and clinical forms
- Interact closely with Evio’s customers and healthcare provider users, providing clear and professional communications to support issue resolution
- Monitor the drug pipeline to identify contracting and RWE product opportunities
- Ideate how RWE can deliver value through digital health products to solve problems faced by health plans and patients
- Develop and present RWE study proposals to internal stakeholders and health plan clients
- Apply analytics skills and knowledge of coding systems and claims data to support the execution of data analyses and RWE studies
- Maintain a command of clinical literature and RWE practices to ensure leading-edge, best in class research and analytics are produced
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) with Residency, or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
- A current and unrestricted pharmacist license in at least one state
- 3+ years working with specialty and high-cost medications through the provision of direct patient care (specialty pharmacy, infusion center, or health system) OR through benefit design, utilization, and contracting at a health plan or PBM
- Strong analytical skills and experience reviewing technical documentation and evaluating healthcare-related data (medical/pharmacy claims, electronic health record data, etc)
- Working knowledge of medication coding systems (Medispan, First Data Bank), diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and other coding systems
- Evidence of exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to share technical and clinical information to a variety of audiences
- Expert-level ability searching and appraising peer-reviewed literature
Requirements
- Anticipated annual base pay range: $120,000 - $150,000 plus additional variable compensation
- Compensation includes base pay (range shown) and could include other variable compensation opportunities depending on job seniority, location, and date of hire
