[Hiring] Client Pension Team Lead @IRIS

Role Description

IRIS Software Group is looking for an experienced Client Pension Team Lead to join our growing Managed Services division and help deliver exceptional pension administration services to our clients. This is a leadership position that combines people management, operational oversight and pensions expertise. You'll be responsible for leading a team delivering Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) administration services, ensuring service levels, quality standards and customer expectations are consistently met.

• Lead, coach and develop a team of pension administration professionals.
• Manage departmental KPIs, productivity measures and service level agreements.
• Schedule and allocate workloads to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Monitor quality standards and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Act as the first point of escalation for client concerns and operational issues.
• Produce management reporting and operational performance insights.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members.
• Ensure accurate and timely pension administration processing.
• Maintain strong understanding of pension legislation and industry developments.
• Support LGPS end-of-year activities and client service meetings.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' pension administration experience ideally within an Education environment.
• Strong knowledge of pension legislation and pension processes, LGPS highly advantageous.
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring colleagues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and planning capability.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
