Role Description

Advance Your Casualty Claims Career — Work Remotely Across the USA!

• Location: Remote (USA) | West Coast candidates preferred
• Work Setup: Work From Home (Non‑Driving Role)

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of Casualty Adjuster experience
• Active Adjuster License required (any state)
• Strong investigation, liability analysis, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage claims independently in a remote environment
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction via phone and email/reporting
• Outside field and vendor direction/interaction
• Direct file handling
• Examine claims forms, policies and endorsements, client instructions and other records to determine coverages
• Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing information required by client, local, state and federal government and by Crawford
• Settle claims by determining clients' coverage, liability, client's instructions and authority levels required by obtaining demands and making offers to claimants, issuing settlement checks, making filings with regulatory agencies, disposing of salvage, pursuing subrogation when appropriate
• Control claims costs
• Determine if litigation is necessary
• Investigate claims for liability

Qualifications

• 4 Year college (Bachelor's Degree)
• 7 plus years Coverage Analysis and the ability to interpret policy forms
• Knowledge of various statutory laws
• Must be licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions. Must complete designated courses while in position in order to advance.
