Role Description
We are looking for a knowledgeable Business Systems Analyst with mortgage banking experience to help our team develop, use and integrate IT systems; primarily cloud-based.
- Understand customer requirements and business objectives
- Provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals
- Manage IT initiatives and collaborate with in-house technical staff
- Design IT systems and networks ensuring the right architecture and functionality
- Support new technology implementation
- Train users in new and existing IT systems
- Provide assistance with technical issues
- Revise existing systems and suggest improvements
- Promote process improvement and be an advocate for change
- Elicit and document the 'what' and 'why' of a business request, separately from the 'how'
- Elicit and document current and future state business and technical process flows
- Analyze data and review/explain data models
- Provide best practice feedback on UI functionality/design
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of proven experience in IT consultation
- BSc/BA in computer science, IT, or relevant field; MSc/MBA in business will be an advantage
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
- Experience with various operating systems and databases
- At least 3 years of experience in project management
- An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
- A team player with excellent communication, both verbal and written as well as presentation skills
