Role Description
This is a remote role and the candidate must be living in Europe and work in CET timezone.
We are looking for an experienced Localization Vendor Manager to join our team (remote).
Responsibilities for the Vendor Manager:
- Actively manage our supplier database.
- Recruit new specialized vendors to build and expand multilingual and dedicated resource supply databases, in line with client needs.
- Utilize market resources for vendor recruitment.
- Evaluate and track vendor performance.
- Manage relationships with existing vendors.
- Collaborate with the accounts department regarding invoicing and payment statuses.
- Compile monthly reports on vendor recruitment activities.
- Negotiate vendor rates.
- Assist production teams with specific vendor requirements based on project pipelines.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as Vendor Manager in the translation industry.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask.
- Resourceful and team player.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of vendor management tools and software.
- Experience of process improvement initiatives and project management.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
