Role Description

We are seeking an Application Administrator II, Workday HCM to support and enhance our Workday platform, with primary responsibility for Core HCM and Workday Help (Case & Knowledge Management).

In this role, you will:

• Configure, maintain, and improve Workday functionality that supports critical employee and HR experiences.
• Partner with HR, Product, and other technology teams to understand business challenges, identify practical Workday solutions, and deliver high-quality improvements that are scalable and maintainable.
• Autonomously own well-defined enhancements and production support while contributing to larger initiatives alongside more senior members of the team.
• Balance day-to-day operational needs with continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical Workday solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes rather than only addressing symptoms.
• Understanding of Workday security concepts and the relationship between security, business processes, and user experience.
• Ability to recognize dependencies between Core HCM and other Workday functional areas.
• Experience using data to validate decisions and measure the effectiveness of delivered solutions.
• Solid testing discipline and attention to configuration quality.

Requirements

• Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM and Workday Help.
• Deliver application functionality for well-defined enhancements, defects, and projects.
• Participate in discovery sessions with business partners to understand problems, desired outcomes, and user needs.
• Translate requirements into simple, sustainable Workday configurations using established platform standards and design patterns.
• Configure and maintain business processes, condition rules, validations, notifications, and other Workday functionality within your areas of responsibility.
• Perform unit testing and support end-to-end testing, deployment, and production validation.
• Monitor the impact of changes after deployment and resolve issues to ensure end-to-end quality.
