[Hiring] Key Account Manager @Avery Dennison

Role Description

As a Key Account Manager for Performance, you will take full ownership of your accounts, driving business growth and playing a pivotal role in our success within the sports league and club market. You will focus on customized uniforms, fanwear, and licensed sportswear (jerseys, apparel, accessories), aligning your efforts with marketing strategies to consistently achieve or exceed the annual operating plan for the region.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value to our clients, acting as a strategic partner to help us expand our market presence.

Your Responsibilities

• Support increasing profitable growth by achieving sales objectives within an assigned territory, generating sales revenue to existing and new accounts.
• Liaise with customers to negotiate terms and conditions, confirm orders, gather additional information as necessary, and keep them informed of progress.
• Liaise with planning/purchasing to ensure customer orders are prioritized and progressed appropriately and service levels are met.
• Proactively inform key customers of order/shipment discrepancies and provide the intended resolution plan.
• Manage the material forecast to support internal site readiness for orders.
• Proactively identify new accounts using screening techniques, referrals, and prospecting to potential customers within the territory.
• Manage samples and coordinate new season developments directly with the customer to ensure alignment with their needs.
• Provide product quotes and actively utilize value-selling tools and skills.
• Navigate complex problems and structures to determine the best solutions for customer needs.

Qualifications

• An insightful, motivated, and high-potential individual with a strong passion for the sports industry. Prior experience in the sector is highly preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish is a must.
• Resident in Mexico City. Working from home.
• Own car and driving license is a requirement.
• Must be strong at analyzing and interpreting complex data sets.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to independently prioritize workload.
• Willingness to travel for customer and internal meetings.
• Outstanding internal and external communication and customer service required.
