Role Description

Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Client Account Specialist with prior law firm experience to join our team. In this essential role, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our services, providing crucial support to our department in delivering exceptional client service and maintaining our commitment to excellence.

• Review aged A/R and communicate with billing attorneys, billing specialists, and clients as approved by the billing attorney to ensure timely collections of A/R.
• Proactively manage problematic A/R and work with the collections team, billing attorney, and billing specialist to resolve and ensure timely collections of A/R.
• Consistently update the collections database with the status of collection efforts.
• Create clear and concise spreadsheets outlining billing, payments, and outstanding invoices to facilitate payment of outstanding invoices.
• Assist billing department with projects and other duties assigned by the Director of Billing & Collections.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working in a law firm as an A/R professional.
• 2+ years experience with A/R success in facilitating payment of outstanding invoices.
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to create and maintain spreadsheets.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of collection software.
• Knowledge of the firm's business process and business operations.
• Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with both the FCO and the California Fair Chance Act (FCA).

Requirements

• The hourly rate range for this position is $33.65 - $38.65. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
