[Hiring] Account Manager Team Leader @Ground Control

Role Description

We're looking for an Account Manager Team Leader to join Ground Control, combining hands-on client management with the day-to-day leadership of three Client Services Administrators. You'll have the opportunity to shape how the team works together, strengthen our client relationships and make sure we're consistently delivering the level of service our customers expect.

• Balance ownership of your own client relationships with leading and supporting the wider Client Services team.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with your clients, understanding their priorities, challenges and opportunities.
• Lead and support three Client Services Administrators, helping them prioritise effectively, solve problems and deliver a consistently strong client experience.
• Take ownership of client communication through regular conversations, meetings and touchpoints.
• Step in when challenges or escalations happen, bringing the right people together and finding practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to develop existing accounts through additional sites, services and solutions.
• Bring structure and consistency to the team, improving communication and collaboration.
• Work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure effective information flow.
• Support key client reviews, new contract mobilisations and transitions, ensuring actions are followed through.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within Account Management, Client Services, Customer Success or a similar client-facing environment.
• Experience leading, supervising or supporting a team, with confidence to provide direction while remaining approachable.
• A natural relationship builder who can communicate confidently with clients and internal stakeholders at different levels.
• Ability to take ownership of challenges and escalations, staying calm and focused on finding the right solution.
• Strong organisation skills and ability to balance your own client portfolio with the needs of your team.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to recognise opportunities to strengthen and grow existing client relationships.
• Proactive and resilient, comfortable making decisions without waiting for direction.
• Collaborative leadership style that fosters a positive, accountable and supportive team environment.
