[Hiring] Account Manager Dairy @Novonesis

Role Description

As part of our Dairy Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial and technical success across our UK and Ireland customer base. You will partner with leading dairy, food and beverage manufacturers and leverage our BioSolutions, including cultures, enzymes and dairy technologies, to help customers bring distinctive, high-performing products to market and build long-term strategic relationships.

This role combines strategic account management, business development and hands-on technical customer collaboration. You will engage with customer decision-makers, identify opportunities and translate complex technical solutions into clear business value, helping deliver sustainable and profitable growth.

Your key responsibilities in this role:

• Manage dedicated customer accounts within the dairy sector and deliver sustained, profitable revenue growth across your assigned portfolio.
• Develop and execute robust account plans aligned with business objectives and growth targets, creating a clear strategic direction for each customer.
• Identify, shape and convert new business opportunities, build strategic customer relationships and develop attractive market segments.
• Build effective relationships across Global Marketing, Senior Leadership, Technical Services, Global Application and Supply Chain teams to support seamless delivery, timely issue resolution and high customer satisfaction.
• Present innovations, product launches, technical solutions and business insights to customers, and actively support production trials and innovation projects.
• Coordinate customer and internal stakeholder activities to convert opportunities into measurable business impact while maintaining existing business.

Qualifications

• A degree in food science and/or several years of management experience in cheese or dairy production and product development.
• A proven track record of optimising manufacturing processes to deliver consistent quality and innovation.
• Demonstrated experience in technical sales account management, including building strategic customer relationships, translating complex technical solutions into clear value propositions and driving sustainable business growth.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with customer contacts at multiple levels.
• A self-driven, collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Working conditions
