[Hiring] Account Manager @KP UK

Role Description

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team. The role's primary function is to achieve revenue growth from new and existing clients and ensure retention of clients. The role also has a responsibility to gain and share insight in order to understand the market and influence Kaplan’s proposition and positioning.

• Contribute to major commercial activity including proposition building, targeting, pitch, presentation, pricing strategy, and negotiation.
• Identify valuable emerging markets, corporate clients, or product opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities and form plans to achieve targets.
• Promote Kaplan at networking events and client/student conferences when deemed an appropriate business development opportunity.
• Attend and present to potential Kaplan students as part of on-site marketing activity to increase uptake in clients where the decision rests with the student.
• Onboard new clients - completing processing agreements, providing induction advice, and ensuring smooth programme setup based on the appropriate predetermined service level.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may be currently working as an Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Client Services Advisor, Client Services Manager, or Senior Account Manager, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

Qualifications

• Target driven and focused with flair and creativity.
• Experience in working with FTSE 250 companies.
• Experience of accountancy/tax qualification training and/or apprenticeships.
• Ability to influence customer decisions and negotiate.
• Ability to devise client proposals, write tenders, prepare and deliver client pitches.
• Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
• Team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
• Comfortable presenting at conferences/on-site.
