• Breaking News Coverage: Monitor business and economic developments in real time, quickly producing accurate and engaging coverage as stories unfold.
• Draft & Refine: Write high-quality articles that follow Associated Press (AP) and Benzinga style guidelines.
• Fact-Check: Ensure every piece of content is accurate, credible, and legally sound.
• SEO & Headline Strategy: Craft compelling, search-optimized headlines and structure content to maximize discoverability and reader engagement.
• Market Fluency: Apply a strong understanding of financial markets, equities, and macro trends to contextualize news for investors.
• Collaborate: Brainstorm fresh, creative content ideas with the team alongside value additive exclusives and interviews to keep our audience engaged.
• Analyze Performance: Use data and analytics to understand what resonates with readers and help increase retention.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of documented news reporting or writing experience.
• Strong working knowledge of AP style and the principles of media law.
